IRS Warns Greenwich Residents Of Phone Scam

The Internal Revenue Service is warning residents of Fairfield County to beware of a new telephone scam demanding money or bank information from taxpayers. Scammers have been contacting taxpayers nationwide providing bogus badge numbers, fake names and are able to alter information on caller IDs.
