Tightly knit group makes shawls for cancer patients

Knitting volunteer, Judy Caravella of Cos Cob, knits a shawl prior to the celebration for the 2,000th shawl created and distributed to the Greenwich Hospital Oncology Department as part of the "Healing Shawl" program done by volunteers at Greenwich Hospital, Conn., Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014. The 2000th shawl was done by Mary Fox of Greenwich who Betsy Corman, oncology volunteer coordinator for Greenwich Hospital, called, "flying fingers.
