Sandy Sulzycki, a longtime sports staff member at the Connecticut Post, has been named the 2014 Bill Gonillo Local Media Award winner. Sulzycki will be honored at the 10th anniversary SportsNight dinner Monday, Oct. 20, at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich at 6 p.m. The award is named after News 12 Sports Director Bill Gonillo, who passed away suddenly at the age of 44 in September 2008.
