After Hitting Utility Pole, Driver Is Arrested for DWI

A 54-year-old motorist is facing a driving while intoxicated charge after he crashed his vehicle into a utility pole Sunday evening. According to a Greenwich Police report, the man was southbound on King Street when he apparently crossed into the oncoming lane and struck a utility pole near Sherwood Avenue at 6:05 p.m. Oct. 26. Anthony N. Capalbo, who gave an address of 7 Memorial Dr., North Salem NY, was described as having watery, bloodshot eyes and failed field sobriety tests, according to the report.
