Video: Historic Greenwich Home Added to CT Freedom Trail

In the 1830's, fugitive slave Peter John Lee escaped from Virginia with a stolen boat and made his way up to Greenwich, where he lived in this home belonging to Thomas Lyon Jr. "He stayed in the house for six years, and somehow was lured across the bridge again by some friends, and was abducted by Blackbirders," said Jo Conboy, the Chairman of the Greenwich Preservation Trust. "It was quite a nice honor.
