Hillshire Brands to buy Van's Natural Foods for $165M

Hillshire Brands Co., maker of Jimmy Dean sausages and Ball Park hot dogs, announced that it has inked a deal with Greenwich, CT.-based private-equity firm Catterton Partners to acquire Van's Natural Foods, a Phoenix-based maker of breakfast and snack foods.
