I would prefer to keep political stuff out of the FB group. So far, it has been a forum for former and current OG residents to share memories and rekindle connections.

Greenwich RoundupDear Anne,

The town clerk is vital to former and current Old Greenwich residents, because all of the towns records about Old Greenwich are handled by this office.

And this is not really political, I personally like Carmella Budkins. The problem is I strongly believe that public officials should be accountable to the Old Greenwich Homeowners who pay their salary.

Old Greenwich Homeowners are paying for a school system that can't pass no federal no child left behind standards.

What are we going to say?

Oh, lets not talk about how Old Greenwich High School students might be effected by a their high school that is being repeatedly flagged by NCLB, because it sounds too political.

Some of the sharpest people in town are from Old Greenwich and things might not be so bad if the town heard a little bit more from them.

A real friend of Old Greenwich is concerned about the educational opportunities for Old Greenwich children and truly accountable town government.

sincerely,

Brian
