The low laying areas of Pemberwick and Glenville were hit real hard this morning with flooding from Hurricane Irene.
Residents there received phone calls asking them to immediately evacuate as the high tide approached.
Greenwich Police were dispatched to assist people during the emergency evacuation.

UPDATE:
Town residents of Lucas Point near the entrance to Greenwich Point Park in Old Greenwich were taken out in an emergency evacuated with the rising tide.
