Himes on the Attack

Friends,

Jim Himes is scared. He knows that only 39% of people believe he should be re-elected (as told in our latest poll). So he has gone on the attack with a new TV commercial that you can see by clicking
here.

Himes is, of course, lying about my record. He points to votes for new insurance mandates, that would require everyone to pay for more mandated coverage. There were no votes about denying coverage of hearing aids to children or anyone else. Instead, I oppose forcing seniors to pay an extra $50/month for the almost one hundred mandates we have in Connecticut.

Jim Himes' two-pronged strategy is as obvious as it is desperate:

1) Say he is a moderate-- even when his voting record is 95% rubber-stamping the Pelosi agenda
2) Try to change the topic from the economy and deficit, and distort my voting record to make me seem like a monster

I need your help to make sure voters know the truth about Jim Himes and his record. You have seen
our current TV ad, and we have more in the works about his record and my common sense solutions for our nation.

But I need your help to make this happen. Each TV commercial spot costs $50, and we need your donations now so we can save our warchest for the Fall. Would you be willing to
donate $50, $100, or $250 by clicking here?

I can only answer Himes' negative and untrue attacks with your help. Thank you in advance for answering the call!

All my best,
--Dan
