Candidate for Governor, Continuing to Lead Republican Primary Race
The Quinnipiac University Polling Institute today released results from a statewide poll on the Connecticut Gubernatorial Race showing Tom Foley continuing to poll ahead of his closest Republican rival by 27 points.
The recent poll shows that, as a potential primary nears, voters are overwhelmingly supporting Tom and his Plan Forward for Connecticut.
Tom Foley released the following statement in response to the poll results:
"I am pleased with the results of the Quinnipiac poll showing my campaign winning a Republican primary by 27 points.Together with our resounding endorsement at the Republican Convention last month, these results confirm that Connecticut voters are ready for an outsider to fix the mess in Hartford."
