05/12/10 The Greenwich Time Police Blotter: Drugs, Sex And No Rock And Roll

Jonathan Rosen, 31, of 16 Secor Road, Scarsdale, N.Y., was arrested and charged Monday with possession of marijuana under four ounces and possession of drug paraphernalia following a car stop in central Greenwich. Police said Rosen failed to stop at an intersection on Arch Street. When Rosen's vehicle was pulled over, officers observed the smell of marijuana and he later told them he had a small amount of marijuana within his car. Police said Rosen handed a small glass container to the officers on scene as well as a glass smoking pipe. Both contained a green leafy substance that tested positive for marijuana, police said. Rosen was released on a promise to appear. He is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford on May 17.

A 14-year-old Greenwich boy was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana under four ounces after he allegedly brought marijuana to Central Middle School. Police said the boy had 0.6 gram of marijuana in his possession, which was discovered by school personnel. The student was issued a summons and released to the custody of his father. He is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford on May 18.

A 15-year-old boy from Greenwich was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault on May 5 after detectives investigated a complaint from a 14-year-old girl.
