03/30/10 The Unofficial Greenwich Flood Report - Where Is Emergency Management Coordinator Daniel Warzoha? - There Are No Updates From Peter Tesei

Greenwich Roads Closed:

Riversville Road, North Maple Street, Cat Rock Road, Round Hill Road and Baldwin Farms South. Are Closed.

Town Hall Insiders Say That Maybe Five More Town Roads Are Closed To Thru Traffic, But Local Residents Could Get In And Out Of These Roads.

A Fire Official Said That Basements In Banksvile And Cos Cob Had Been Flooded.

Bruce Park And Binney Park In Old Greenwich Are Flooded.

At 11;30 PM Town Administrator John Crary Told Greenwich Roundup That No Flood Updates Had Been Issued And He Was Unsure If Any Flood Updates Would Be Issued.

Greenwich First Selectman Peter Tesei, Did Not Give Out Any Flood Updates Or Make Himself Available For An Interview Today.

So Far The Greenwich Appears To Have Escaped Major Flooding.

Greenwich Roundup Will Let You Know If The Greenwich Emergency Management Center Issues Any Updates Today Or Tonight.

So Far Today Greenwich Has Recieved About 2 Or 3 Inches Of Rain, The Town Is Bracing For 6 Inches Of Rain In Localized Spots.

Some Sandbags Maybe Available At The Cos Cob And Sound Beach Fire Stations And Other Fire Houses In Town.

A Greenwich Roundup Reader Says That The Glenville Fire House Has Sandbags.


UPDATE #2:


Greenwich Has Not Been Hit As Hard As Was Initially Forecast.


About 4 Inches Of Rain Fell In Town.
