Concert Series

Presents

ROB MATHES AND FRIENDS

SUNDAY, MARCH 7, 4:00 PM

Rob Mathes is a Grammy and Emmy nominated musician, music director, singer/songwriter, arranger, and record producer. He has been writing his own little brand of blues drenched spiritual Pop for years, but also works with some of music's greatest. He recently completed performances at Carnegie Hall with Bettye LaVette and worked on orchestral arrangements with Sting. Mathes is also well known for his annual Christmas Concerts.

This concert will be more blues-oriented and will include some of Mathes' original music from his CD Evening Train and new material from his soon-to-be-released CD Wheelbarrow. Accompanying Mathes are some of the best musicians in the New York area -- Will Lee on Bass from the David Letterman Show, Shawn Pelton on Drums from Saturday Night Live, Billy Masters on Guitar, Chris Coogan on keyboards, and Vaneese Thomas and Ian Cron on vocals.
