02/02/10 Greenwich Resident Tom Foley's Campaign Corner

Tom Foley for Governor

We're on the air! As many of you know, our new television commercial entitled "Let's Get to Work" begins airing statewide this week. For those of you who have seen it, you know that the ad highlights Tom's commitment to bringing back jobs and the economy in our state, reducing the cost and size of government and reducing the tax burden on working families.

For those of you who haven't seen it, visit the link below and let us know what you think.

On a related note, we were having a conversation here at headquarters this week about how we're the only campaign that is doing all the things that need to be done to win in November. Consider for a moment that we are the only campaign for Governor, Republican or Democrat, which:
  • Knows it will have the funding necessary to take the fight all the way to November;
  • Is currently running television commercials statewide;
  • Has multiple offices up-and-running; and,
  • Has hired a complete, top-notch campaign staff.
We know that we are substantially ahead in the polls. However, Tom continues to push himself and all of us hard to win the nomination. Winning in November won't be easy; any campaign that is going to win needs to be firing on all cylinders for the next nine months. We're happy to know that we are the only campaign that is firing on all cylinders right now.
