11/23/09 H1N1 vaccine ready

The town Health Department reports it has a couple of hundred doses of H1N1 vaccine still available for its upcoming clinic on Dec. 2.

In addition to the groups that have already been given priority -- pregnant women, children 6 months to 6 years old, people age 7 to 24 with medical conditions, and household contacts and caregivers of children less than 6 months old -- the Wednesday clinic will be open to people age 24 to 64 with medical conditions. Greenwich residents and nonresidents with a doctor in town can call the department's flu hotline at 203-622-3774 to register for the clinic.
