Video - Reporter discusses Greenwich fertility doctor's alleged sperm swap
In an inteview that appeared on CBS' "The Early Show" Friday morning, Greenwich Time staff writer Debra Friedman discusses the allegations swirling around Greenwich obstetrician/gynecologist, Dr. Ben D. Ramaley.
According to a 2005 lawsuit, Ramaley allegedly substituted his own sperm for that of a patient's husband during an artificial insemination procedure in 2002.
The state Department of Public Health investigated the allegation after the lawsuit was filed, but never ordered Ramaley to undergo a DNA test to conclusively prove if he was the biological father of the patient's twin girls.
