BREAKING NEWS - Greenwich auto magnate's daughter arrested in art insurance scam

By Debra Friedman GREENWICH -- The daughter of local automobile tycoon Malcolm Pray was charged in an art insurance fraud Thursday after police said she claimed an expensive painting went missing and later attempted to cash in on a large insurance policy.


Natasha Gagne, also know as Tina Gagne, 46, of 6 Stanwich Road, turned herself into police on a warrant Thursday afternoon after a two-month criminal investigation was conducted by police, the FBI, the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Southern District of New York and insurance investigators from the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies.


Police said Gagne allegedly sold a rare painting at a Manhattan auction house in 2007 netting $17,250 in cash.


Investigators said she then claimed the painting went missing....
