Greenwich synagogue to install new rabbi

The Greenwich Reform Synagogue plans to install a new spiritual leader at a service this evening.

Andrew R. Sklarz, a Stamford native, joined the synagogue last summer; this evening he will be installed as the rabbi.

Sklarz equates the feel of today's ceremony to that of a wedding.
"It's like tying the knot," he said. "I am formally making a commitment to the congregation and they are making a formal commitment to me." ....
