COMMENT:

Dear Chris,

I have repeatedly accused Old School Greenwich Citizen Editor Don Harrison of not being Internet savvy to fully exploit his so-called "news web site".

However, I must admit that I am not a savvy social networking kind of guy and have failed to use tools like facebook to bring new readers to Greenwich Roundup.

It not that I do not understand the power of social networking sites to drive traffic to a cause or a website. It Is clear that a website that is involved with several social networking sites is like an Octopus with multiple tentacles pulling traffic into the center or hub.

My problem is that in Kindergarten I did not get very high marks with "works well and plays with others". So chating away on social network sites like Facebook is just not that appealing to me.

However, I Might make an exception and register for facebook so that I can join the Fresh Air Fund Community, because it is such a noble and worthwhile organization. Further, I would encourage other members of Greenwich society to join and support your facebook group that helps needy children.
