12/22/08 A Short Greenwich Roundup Editorial: Why Isn't Anyone Reporting On Getting Federal Stimulus Money For Greenwich

Greenwich residents can see how the stimulus package is playing out.

Stimulus package money could help the single family homeowners in Greenwich contain potential tax increases while preserving vital town services.

The stimulus package is really important to Greenwich and one of the biggest advocates of the town getting it's fair share has been Cos Cob resident Frank Farricker.

It is time for Greenwich politicos and local media reporters to look into what Mr. Farricker says is potentially available to the town.

For far too long Greenwich has paid too much to Connecticut and Federal coffers and gotten little or nothing in return.

It is time for Greenwich to start getting more state and federal grants that provide relief to taxpayer while improving the town.
