12/10/08 READER SUBMITTED COMMENTS: Clarke knows Pisani

A LETTER TO THE EDITOR ABOUT AN EX-EDITOR

To The Roundup Editor:

I like Bill Clarke's post on the phasing out of the Greenwich Newspapers. I worked for the Stamford Advocate, and I'm well aware of how poorly the main editor, Joe Pisani, handled his job.

Interestingly, Pisani is now writing about JOURNALISM and GREED. Well, it takes one to know one.

This self-absorbed BOSS of mine definded "greed". Pisani sat at two desks (Stamfod Advocate and Greenwich Times) and did NOTHING but bitch and complain to anyone who would listen. He was always whining, but to the wrong people.

When it wasn't ABOUT JOE, he pouted a acted like a teenager. When the men didn't jump HIGH ENOUGH, he snickered among his all female "friends", with whom he still pals around with. He was a gossip, and catty atty catty.. But he had his "favorites". If I'm giving the impression of UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR, that's what was going on. His little mentee.....THE SUSIE DISH was his little private personal attendee of whatever he wanted. It was sick....but we (most of the men and I) laughed at the whole thing. The AdvoSoap Opera. What a drama!!!!!

Joe Pisani .....the guy's a bum. He never proof read any main story. He just wanted the pages filled. He did nothing good, and did nothing well. Reading his local columns give a very false impression of the bitter and dishonest man who fired me. He doesn't have a sincere bone in his body. I know him because I watched him for years.

He is like raw sewage. The kind that won't go away.
