READER SUBMITTED COMMENTS: Darien/greenwich police blotter

Who Are These Mystery People That Police Are Arresting

To the Darien/Greenwich Roundup Editor:

FINALLY, an alternative to the Darien Times, which is as incompentent as the Greenwich Post and the New Canaan Advertiser.....need I blog on???

In Darien, we receive the Darien Times for free. I think. I don't believe I pay for it, because why would I??? It is as one sided and biased as the rest of the Hersham Acorn-assed teany weeny itty bitty town papers.

Our police blotter may as well be called the" invisable blotter" because no names are ever listed for anything unless the crook is from out of town. For example, a resident man, age 42 ,was arrested for beating his pregnant girlfriend with a tennis racquet.....It happened at1:23 AM on the corner of Morningside Drive.

Hmmmm. What a story!! What a deterrant for future tennis racquet attacks on pregnant women. WHERE ARE THE NAMES????

There are reasons for a Police BLOTTER. It can be a warning of sorts, it can be a way to notify the public in case the scene is a familiar occurance" like "hey....I was hit by a tennis racquet too on that VERY street"...or it can be a way to see if our men in blue do anything besides sitting on or w/a radar gun.

Seriously, we need to know about what is safe, who is not, and how crime effects us. If there is an accident, why don't we read THE NAMES?????? It is written on a public. Public means there are no secrets or big mystery stirring!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interestingly, our "fire times" shows more alarm systems activating bc they are also fire alarm combos....meaning more burglaries are attempted, at least.....but in order to know this, you need to know where to look. And then use your own alarm when you go out.

Underage drinking? Name the kids!!!! If they or their family sees their name in print, MAYBE they'd think twice about drinking and driving again. I don't care if the person is 17 or 99....drinking drivers should not be protected. They kill people and it is usually never themselves.

But, that might mean they get kicked off the lacrosse team for breaking a signed "commitment" made pre-season that if they are caught drinking, they are off the team.

They are usually given an award, instead of court date or suspended license.. DARIEN'S MVP Most Very Privileged....and very lucky their daddy posted bail and kept it hush hush.

Oh...I almost forgot. The Darien Times now has two former Greenwich columnists who just add sh!@ to the ever growing pile of Darien's dirt. Joe Pisani and his baby doll/daughter/mentor/mother/sister/maid....whatever she is, Susie "can I borrow a brain cell" Costaregni, aka, "The Dirty Dish Towel". Thanks for adding yours, to our own very large group of talent less columnists.

And hearing PDiddy was in Greenwich makes me want to stay in Darien. I care he watches a scrimmage? No offense, but I find it hard to believe any stars go to Greenwich. Because, at the same time, they are on the cover of Star in the Bahamas. Thats plagiarism or just plain made up crap, Suzzzzzzz. Get lost. Go to college.

I like this Darien/Greenwich Round UP. Giddy Up Readers!!!!!!!!! Oh this is the place to be.....

signed,

My town is not Greenwich.
