Stamford man sentenced for kiddie porn possession

A city man arrested last November for possessing and sharing digital files of kiddie porn containing more than 10,000 images, was sentenced to six years in jail on Friday. Ranjer Gonzalez , 35, of Greenwich Avenue, pleaded guilty to a charge of first-degree possession of child pornography shortly before being sentenced at the Stamford courthouse.

Residents in 10 Connecticut towns - mostly in Fairfield County - paid more state income taxes in 2013 than residents of the 113 towns who paid the least.
