$411M Greenwich Budget Plan Includes Funds For New Pool, School

The $411 million budget plan approved by a town board would provide the funds for Greenwich to move ahead on a new building for the New Lebanon School and a new town pool, according to Greenwich Time . The plan, moved ahead by the Board of Estimate of Taxation, would increase the town's mill rate by 2.75 percent, Greenwich Time reported.

Greenwich BET Approves $411 Million Budget

After hours of debate Thursday night, the Greenwich Board of Estimate and Taxation unanimously approved a $411 million budget that includes money for the proposed Byram Park Pool Project and the New Lebanon School rebuilding project. The budget, which will now be reviewed by the Representative Town Meeting and its committees before that body votes on it in May, represents a 2.75 increase of the current 10.969 mill rate.
