Earlier this year, a 22-year-old Greenwich native named George stood before a room of parents in the Greenwich YMCA, and told them how he came to be hooked on heroin. It started when he was an eighth-grader at Western Middle School, he said.

Greenwich Woman Charged After Leaving Child In Locked Car

A mid-country Greenwich woman is facing charges after she left her child inside a locked vehicle while she was at the playground at Scalzi Park in Stamford on Thursday afternoon, police said. Danielle Neuman, 36, of 39 Boulder Brook Road, was charged with risk of injury to a child and leaving a child unsupervised.
