Greenwich Man Charged with Bilking Another Darien Merchant

Robert Connolly, 45, of Shore Road in Greenwich, told Village Cleaners at 9 Tokeneke Rd. on July 25 that he'd forgotten his wallet but needed the tailored and cleaned suit they had for him, so it was agreed he could take the suit and return later with the $70, according to police. Then that return never happened, Darien police say, and now Connolly is charged with sixth-degree larceny after police applied for and received a warrant for his arrest.
