Something Is Just Not Kosher At 32 Field Point Road And The First Lutheran Church Of Greenwich (greenwichroundup.blogspot)

Is Reverend Greg Dywer And The First Lutheran Church Getting Ready To Be Taken On The Charity Ride From Hell?

The Celebrity Name Dropping Ex-Greenwich Tailor David Proudfit And His New Business Partner Barry Montgomery Are At It Again And They Are Taking Over The First Lutheran Church On Field Point Road

Quirky Greenwich resident Barry Montgomery has introduced his new "business partner" to the Reverend Greg Dywer who is next door to his office building at the First Lutheran Church

Apparently, they have convinced the good reverend that they are going to hold the biggest charity silent auction and event that Greenwich has ever seen, and the Reverend without doing any do diligence has agreed to allow the church to be involved.

Rumor has it that the name dropping Proudfit is telling town merchants and anyone else that will listen that the First Lutheran Church event will be attended by Former NHL star and Greenwich resident Ron Greschner and his son, News 12 Connecticut anchor Tom Appleby, Greenwich director/producer Ron Howard and his wife author Cheryl Howard, Tony Savino the news director at AM 1490 WGCH Greenwich, actor and Greenwich resident Brendan Fraser, Theresa Rogers Matthews the owner of Horseneck Wines, New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi, Kathleen Shelton Smith, chairman and co-founder of Renaissance Capital LLC, Riverside resident Lara Spencer, lifestyle anchor for ABC's "Good Morning America" and amoung others. There is even talk that Mr. Proudfit has gotten his good friend and Fox Television's "Master Chef" judge Joe Bastianich to be the main caterer for the charity event for free.

The name dropping Proudfit and Montgomery's celebrity and business leader attendee list just keeps growing and growing and growing.

This is going to huge and all for a good cause.

What could possibly go wrong?

Well, maybe the Reverend Greg Dywer should do a little bit of due diligence......
