Over 200 participated in Mitzvah Day!
This past Sunday was a day of action! Over 200 people, of all ages joined us for Mitzah Day. Whether they were packing up toiletries for a shelter or sorting food for Neighbor to Neighbor, the atmosphere was electric with the feeling of community.

Toy Drive Helps Make Chanukah Special For Many!
Thank you to everyone who donated toys for this year's toy drive, benefiting the Jewish Community Council of Canarsie. Rav David drove the gifts to the Canarsie JCC in Brooklyn and dropped off almost 200 toys.

On Sunday, February 5 we have invited seniors from the Lower East Side and from the local Greenwich area to join us for a special luncheon. We need volunteers to help make their lunch a success. Volunteers help prepare the meal, set tables, welcome our guests, serve the meal, and schmooze. All ages are invited to help. There is a job for everyone.

In addition, you are invited to come early for a learning session with Rabbi Mitch "Honoring the Elderly" at 9:15 am.

11:00 am - Hot dog lunch for volunteers
11:30 am - Guests start to arrive
