02/20/10 Helping with my Plan Forward for Connecticut

Tom Foley for Governor

Tom Foley for GovernorI can't implement my Plan Forward for Connecticut alone. I need your help to overcome our largest obstacle, the Democrats' supermajority in Hartford.

As you may know, there is a special election on March 2nd in Stratford. This will be our first chance to work together on the local level as a team to help move Connecticut forward.

Please help me and our team by volunteering at Stratford Republican headquarters (2362 Main Street in Stratford Center) for a 'Super Saturday' door knocking effort beginning at 10am. I hope you'll join me in recruiting volunteers, for both this weekend and the next, who will work to get our message out that Connecticut needs a new direction.

Our team and I will also be volunteering at the phone banks to let people in Stratford know that my Plan Forward cannot be implemented by the Governor alone, I need partners who understand the importance of creating jobs and new opportunities for the people of Connecticut. Please tell your friends that volunteers are needed to man phone banks at the Republican Party Headquarters in New Britain Monday through Thursday 9:30AM-8PM and Friday 9:30AM-5PM.

To get more information contact Sarah Richards the CT State Republican Party at (860) 826-7378.

Thank you,

Tom
