.....Under Monday's agreement, Andrew and Mark Madoff agreed to pledge up to $2.5 million each on houses they own in the wealthy town of Greenwich, Connecticut....
.....Walter Noel pledged up to $10 million on his house in Greenwich. Other Madoff feeder funds also pledged up to $2.5 million in cash escrows or property, the attorneys said.

.....The judge lifted orders against people and companies that included Madoff’s wife, Ruth; his brother Peter; his sons Andrew and Mark; Walter Noel Jr. and Jeffrey Tucker, founding partners of Fairfield Greenwich Group .
.....The freeze is in force only against Andres Piedrahita of Fairfield Greenwich, for the technical reason that he wasn’t served with the suit, and Bernard Madoff, who may be dropped as a defendant and controls no assets due to other legal actions.
“Our understanding is he’s about to be put into involuntary bankruptcy, and we may move to dismiss him from the case,” said the town’s lawyer David Golub of Silver Golub & Teitell LLP in Stamford.....
.....“For all those who say, ‘Why are you doing this? You’re never going to get any money,’ now we’ve created a pot,” Richard Robinson, a lawyer for Fairfield at Pullman & Comley LLC in Hartford ......
Noel of Fairfield Greenwich agreed to the attachment on his house “with no findings, including no finding of liability or wrongdoing,” Glenn Kurtz, a partner at White & Case LLP, said by e-mail......
