America owes a debt of gratitude to all those who have served in our Armed Forces. On Veterans Day, we remember those who have served in previous wars, those who are serving today, and those who did not live to become veterans.

The Reason We have a free press and the free speech rights is because so many were willing to make the ultimate sacrifice.

On this Veterans Day, I urge every Blogger, Citizen Journalist and Mainstream Corporate Journalist in and around Greenwich to take time to thank one of our Nation’s 24 million veterans. They come from different generations and different backgrounds.

But they are united by a commitment to honor, duty, and love of country that has kept America free. They continue to strengthen and inspire our Nation. And we should never, never, ever forget what we owe them.

Looks Like Greenwich Roundup Has Found A "Deep Throat" That Is Willing To Spill The Beans On Local Greenwich Reporting At Hearst Newspapers

I had the agony of working with Mr. Joe Pisani at The Advocate for quite a number of years. I can tell you this web site is on to the man AS HE IS and HAS ALWAYS BEEN.

I find it mysterious he is popping up now in the Town of Greenwich and Stamford after losing his job as editor a year ago. He has no ties to Greenwich, beyond the crap the Greenwich Post sells. He has no ties to Stamford either, and I don't believe anyone notices him gone.

He is an obnoxious, self-serving, bastard to work for. Unless you are a woman. Then he is a chauvenistic SOB until you serve his ego. For a man, he is wimp with a temper of a woman. As a man who worked for him, I found him to be a complete loser with no backbone. He would never know I felt this way because he expected ass kissing 24/7.

I'm tired of seeing his name and the names his group of former columnists. They seem to be expanding over the other towns smaller weekly newspapers. People who know him or any brain, know he is not what he makes himself out to be. He has the audacity to write columns praising himself and relatives for good deeds? Is that all he can do?Let me just say their is no better way to prove lack of self esteem and dishonesty. His personality matches. The perfect word for him would be "bitch."

The good bye party was a crock. Maybe because the Pisani women friends feel sorry for him. Joe is a habitual complainer. Very few of Pisani's friends went ???, and they are almost all female. Men thought he was a first class ass-hole. It was a Malloy function. Pisani and Malloy are tight because Pisani covered for Malloy. Polititions love to get in with a newspaper editor. Maybe Pisani wants to be Malloys PR man when he loses his race for governor.

Let's see who is Stamford's Thanksgiving Day Parade Marshal. Pisani? What a total joke.

Plus, you are right about all the cover-ups and not printing issues ethically.

Pisani had no ethics at all.
