Greenwich Fire Department Battle House Fire

Crews from the Greenwich Fire Department and surrounding volunteer departments were trying to extinguish a fire in a backcountry Greenwich home Tuesday night. Crews were summoned to a home in the area of 181 Clapboard Ridge Rd. shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Luxury vehicles stolen in Greenwich

A Range Rover was stolen Saturday night from West Putnam Avenue. Police say the driver had locked his car doors and that he was only gone for a few hours. Golf clubs were inside the stolen vehicle.
