Video: Preview Connecticut Playmakers' Moonlight and Magnolias; Runs 3/20-28

The madcap antics behind a script overhaul that led to the iconic film "Gone With The Wind" unravel as comedic farce in the first of at least two productions Connecticut Playmakers is offering for its 68th year of Broadway-style theater in Greenwich. Check out a video preview below! The play is called "Moonlight and Magnolias" and is to be staged under Dan Friedman 's direction at the First Congregational Church in Greenwich March 20-22 and March 27-28.

Sandy Hook Panel Wrong On Home Schooling

My wife and I have four children, three of whom are home schooled, which is why an ill-considered proposal by the Sandy Hook Advisory Commission to tighten home-schooling regulations caught our attention. If Gov. Dannel P. Malloy has any sense, it's one of the commission's recommendations that he will throw right in the trash.
