Nancy Healy Inducted Into Greenwich'S Realtor Hall of Fame

The Greenwich Association of REALTORS announced that Nancy Healy, a proprietor of Shore and Country Properties, has been honored to become a member of the small group that comprises the Greenwich REALTOR Hall of Fame. The REALTOR Hall of Fame is the highest honor presented to a member for their lifetime service to the real estate, industry and the Greenwich community.

Separate strands: Show weaves together diverse group of artists

An installation by Peruvian artist Ana de Orbegoso, "The Invisible Wall," sits outside the Greenwich Arts Council in Greenwich, Conn., where, inside "Common Thread: Women Artists Changing the Rules and Exploring New Horizons" is running through March 12, 2015. The show looks at the work of about a dozen women artists, including de Orbegoso, who also has photographs and a video installation featured in the show.

A breath of fresh air

The Garden Education Center of Greenwich, Conn., has a relatively new program for families every third Sunday of the month that encourages exploration and learning amid Montgomery Pinetum Park, where the center is located. The next program is set for Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015.

Berkley profit down on depressed investments

Mr. Berkley added that one of Berkley's oil-related funds "will likely" have an adverse impact in the first quarter of 2015 compared with the same quarter a year earlier. But he said the Greenwich, Connecticut-based insurer's core underwriting business continues to do well, calling its performance "excellent."

Board of Estimate and Taxation Begins Review of Greenwich's Proposed $408 Million Budget

The Greenwich budget season began in earnest Tuesday night when First Selectman Peter Tesei unveiled his proposed $408,684,576 budget for the 2015-16 fiscal year. The budget proposal represents an increase of $12,996,093 or 3.28 percent over the 2014-15 budget of $395,688,483.
