Skakel settles lawsuit against HLNa s Nancy Grace

Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel has settled a lawsuit against television commentator Nancy Grace and others over comments made on her HLN network show in 2012 about the murder case against him. Skakel's 2013 lawsuit said he was slandered by untrue comments that DNA linked him to the 1975 killing of his Greenwich neighbor Martha Moxley when both were 15 years old.

Skakel Settles Slander Suit with TV Personality Nancy Grace Settle

Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel, who's awaiting retrial on a murder charge, has settled his slander suit against television personality Nancy Grace who broadcast a comment that Skakel left DNA evidence at the scene of the 1975 murder of his Greenwich neighbor Martha Moxley. Lawyers for Skakel, Grace and her co-defendants, commentator Beth Karas Time Warner Inc., or Turner Broadcasting System Inc. wouldn't disclose details of the settlement, that was filed Oct. 31 in New Haven federal court, according to WFSB .

Greenwich Avenue was awash in a sea of red, white and blue Tuesday as hundreds of residents gathered to salute the town's veterans in the annual Veterans Day commemoration. Dozens of veterans - many wearing their uniforms or hats designating the service branch and conflict in which they served - proudly saluted, sang patriotic songs and listened to tributes thanking them for their undaunting service during World War II, the Korean Conflict, the Vietnam War and now serving tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
